NURTURING RESILIENCE IN CHILDREN

As an engaged scholar and licensed psychologist, Dr. Jones is dedicated to implementing research that informs clinical practice.  She believes the path to meeting educational and social-emotional needs of children and families lies within a cultural context. As a practicing psychologist, she has served a diverse population of more than 250 children and families in assessment and treatment.  In her 20+ years of providing clinical services and conducting research, Dr. Jones is at the forefront of scholar-practitioners who identify effective approaches for addressing the mental health needs of children and families of color.
